D. Brent Israelsen

Executive Chairman

Brent Israelsen has 25 years of broad professional, business and technology experience in the Legal, Education, Healthcare and Financial Services sectors. At DigitalBridge his responsibilities include defining the overall vision and direction of the technology architecture and its various market-specific applications; and development of the digital ecosystems model for information-sharing and process management solutions. Brent previously served as President of JuriSoft, a division of Lexis-Nexis. He also co-founded iLumin Corporation.and NxLight, Inc., both privately-held companies with industry-leading technology and applications for digital signatures and enforceable electronic transactions. For a number of years Brent has been an influential thought leader in the field of protected information-sharing. He co-founded the Utah Electronic Law and Commerce Partnership and helped found LegalXML, now part of OASIS. Brent was appointed by then-Utah Governor Michael Leavitt as an initial member of the Utah Electronic Commerce Council and was later appointed to serve as the Co-Chair of the Web Services Group for the Utah Technology Alliance (UTA). He has one patent issued with several others pending. For twelve years, Brent was a practicing attorney in Washington, DC at the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Court of Claims, and with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, one of the largest law firms in the world. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Utah State University and a J.D. from Brigham Young University.

Terry A. Pitts

President / Chief Exucutive Officer

Terry Pitts has over 30 years of executive management, business and technology experience in the health care and technology industries. He is responsible for the overall strategy, planning and operations of DigitalBridge across all market segments served by the Company. Mr. Pitts has extensive entrepreneurial experience, having founded several successful companies in the health care market. Mr. Pitts has served as President and CEO of two HCIT companies, has been a Senior Managing Partner with one of the major accounting/consulting firms responsible for all HCIT activity on a national basis, and currently serves on the boards of several health care related technology companies. He has been a CIO with a major healthcare provider and was a Senior Vice President of one of the largest HCIT organizations in the country. Terry also has experience in the Department of Defense Military Health System and the Canadian and United Kingdom health care IT markets. Mr. Pitts received his Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the State University of New York.

Rob McCrory

Chief Operating Officer / Senior Vice President, Solutions and Support

Rob McCrory has spent his 25-year technology and business career building and leading information technology and services companies in healthcare and other I/T industries. He is the Chief Operating Officer for DigitalBridge and is responsible for financial operations, infrastructure, human resources, solutions delivery and the solutions support areas of the company. Mr. McCrory is also using his extensive background in healthcare information technology to drive DigitalBridge’s health industry initiatives. He has been the President and Chief Operating Officer of two HCIT companies and a Sr. Vice President and General Manager for the largest HCIT consulting practice in healthcare. As a natural extension of these activities, he provided the executive management, strategy, and operational expertise to create and run many of these organizations - which included start-up to $100M in annual sales. Mr. McCrory has spent his career developing and implementing information technology solutions that are focused on growth and on improving fundamental business performance. Mr. McCrory attended Brigham Young University and The University of Phoenix and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Ronald D. Maines

Executive Vice President

Ronald Maines has orchestrated the initial funding and investor relationships for DigitalBridge and he continues to lead the financial strategy, funding, and related corporate development activities at the Company. Mr. Maines is a co-creator of The History Channel, co-founder of Gigahertz Equipment Company, and has been involved in a variety of other successful technology and business ventures. He brings exceptional business and executive level experience and relationships to the Company, developed over 25 years in the legal, technology, and government regulatory markets. Ronald practiced federal regulatory law in Washington, DC for 22 years and is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He has taught constitutional litigation at Georgetown University; has been a Senior Visiting Fellow at Cambridge University; and an Associate in Oxford University’s Program in Comparative Media Law & Policy. Ronald received a B.A. from Davidson College, an M.A. from the University of Notre Dame, a J.D. from Wake Forest University and is a doctoral prospect in the London School of Economics.

Bruce E. Brown, PhD

Chief Technology Officer / Chief Scientist

Dr. Brown has over 30 years of experience in hardware and software engineering in the information technology industry. He is responsible for the overall architecture, design and development of DigitalBridge’s innovative Digital Packet Technology™. Dr. Brown has executive-level management experience with various technology companies and research institutions including: Oracle, WANG and Lawrence Livermore National Labs. He was a founder and served as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Scientist at NxLight and iLumin, both privately-held companies with industry-leading technology and applications for digital signatures and enforceable electronic transactions. Previously, Dr. Brown was Vice President of Research and Development with Folio Corporation, Director of the Multi-Media SBU at Oracle, and he held various management positions at Wang. Dr. Brown has five software patents issued, with several others pending. He has been a speaker at numerous industry conferences and he served on the Board of Directors of SGML Open, now OASIS, for five years. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master’s in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Utah.

Scott S. Thomas

Senior Vice President, Legal and General Counsel

Scott Thomas leads the Company’s legal activities and is responsible for day-to-day oversight of a variety of legal and regulatory issues. He has broad experience in commercial law practice including litigation, arbitration, and mediation. His areas of professional focus have been corporate counseling; employment; intellectual property; contracts; risk management; employee benefits planning & administration; finance; litigation; mergers & acquisitions; insurance coverage; product liability; regulatory counseling; and franchising.

Scott formerly practiced in the Washington, D.C., office of Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy and in the Atlanta office of Kilpatrick Stockton. He is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and of the Defense Research Institute. Additionally, he is admitted to the Bars of Utah, the District of Columbia, and Georgia, and he is admitted to practice in several federal trial and appellate courts. Scott graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University and cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University.

Billy Nerenberg

Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Billy Nerenberg is responsible for all DigitalBridge sales and marketing activities, which include product marketing, demand creation, branding, and corporate communications. Mr. Nerenberg is also responsible for coordinating the sales and sales management activities across the company’s subsidiaries and for developing the expertise, discipline, and bench strength necessary to support these activities. He is a seasoned veteran of the high-tech industry, having previously held positions with Microsoft, Intel, and Symantec. Mr. Nerenberg earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Oregon. He has extensive executive training from both Intel and Microsoft’s leadership programs including coursework at the Oregon Institute of Technology and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
